MEET DREAMS IN HEELS
Hola! My name is Olga María.
Welcome to Dreams in Heels (Solo Female Travel Blog)! This is the story of a small town girl raised in Bayamon, Puerto Rico who is living her dreams in heels around the world. From being bullied in school due to a leg condition, taking a leap of faith by leaving all behind including family, and starting a new life solo in NYC without knowing any English, to turning the negative into something positive like a brand.
I went from working in an office full-time, to working the red carpet at fashion week and then becoming a full-time travel writer/digital nomad and a citizen of the world. I’m sharing my experiences from living in different locations around the world and hoping to inspire you through my solo female traveler’s lifestyle. Dare to escape with me (even in heels) for a journey off-beaten paths, filled with adventure travel, trending destinations, delicious food, wine hopping, luxury travel, and budget tips. We will find style in every culture. My goal is to motivate you to go and experience the world for yourself. Where to next?!
