As stars prepare for the Oscars countdown, entertainment reporters continue to wag tongues in anticipation of what celebrities will wear from top designers from the always exciting, Oscar de La Renta and his sophisticated ball gown dresses to Tom Ford’s sexy ultra tailored tuxedo suits. Sunday’s Pre-Red Carpet showdown will broadcast around the world making entertainment headlines of fashions do’s and don’ts, and you do not want to miss it!
Starting with New York Fashion Week, leading up to red carpet movie premieres and award shows, newcomer and Oscar Nominated Actress Lupita Nyong’o, recently attended the NAACP Image Awards in an eye popping burnt orange plunging neckline gown straight from the runway; wearing Givenchy Pre-Fall ‘14 Collection with matching color stilettos, and gold minimal hardware. Expect to see similar inspired designs from other major fashion houses and so much more!
Here are our Oscar Red Carpet predictions on what is expected on the red carpet this season at the Academy Awards. First up, black and white color block and sleeveless gowns with elegant round or plunged necklines with a red shoe to show a pop of color. This is surely “ready to wear” for Oscar night or any evening formal after party.
Next up, for a well-toned body type, cut-out dresses is certain to turn heads and wow “photogs” and onlookers at any red carpet event. A sexy cutout dress and Tre ‘chic heels, and a simple style clutch is a definite “statement maker,” setting any daring individual apart from all the rest. It showcases all the right assets, tone arms, abs and hourglass figure.
Last, but certainly not least, we end with vintage couture as the final prediction. Recently trending from the Golden Globes,old Hollywood style looks remain classic as red carpet moments in history. The most memorable Oscar moment in 2001 was the vintage stunning velvet and satin Valentino movie star gown worn by then Oscar winner, Actress Julia Roberts for her portrayal in the movie inspired by true events, Erin Brockovich. As a Style Expert and all around lover of all things fashion one can only hope that the stars is in alignment when our favorite celebrities walk the red carpet remaining fashion-forward!
