Where to start?

The ideal way is by finding a great candle making kit. At Dreams in Heels we did the research for you! This is one of the best soy candles making kit that we at DIH have found and you can order it from Amazon. It is perfect for beginners and it includes everything you need to make 12 Scented Soy Wax Candles with the following fragrance oils: Lavender, Very Vanilla, Grapefruit and Mangosteen, & Egyptian Amber. The kit will help you make 3 candles of each scent, but you can also create your own scents. I personally love the Citrus and Spiced scents candles. For those, you can combine cinnamon bark and blood orange, clove bud and clementine, and cardamom and bergamot. Stir in about 40 drops of oil total for each cup of wax, following about a 1-to-3 ratio of spice scent to citrus scent. Do not worry because the kit includes a simple step-by-step instruction that will guide you through the whole process.Soy Candle making kit

Light the fire!

There’s something magical about a lit floating candle (fire) dancing on water. It adds a romantic and cozy feel to any space. It is perfect to create a very special atmosphere for the holidays or for a romantic night. These candles are like small boats that float because of the way they are made. They have to be flat on the bottom and not too thick, so they won’t tip or flip over. The molds for making them are probably in your kitchen cabinets right now or you can find them in a deal store. You can use muffin tins, cookie cutters, and tart molds. You can do many candles at a time and use them for your table, for gifts or to sell. All you have to do is melt the wax, pour it into the baking pans, add the wicks, and set the timer.
