As you know, the martini is the “King of Cocktails” or so we are told by our friends and insiders at Ketel One Vodka. Also, when you ask any talented bartenders at celebrated bars around the globe, they will offer their own entertaining and educational takes on the origin of this famous cocktail: who created the first martini, where the name came from, and what makes it “filthy.” Every bartender will have their own preferred ratios of gin or vodka with vermouth, favored garnishes, and if they prefer it “shaken or stirred.”

In honor of this National holiday, Martini Day, Dreams in Heels and Ketel One Vodka serves up a classic Ketel One Ultimate Martini and two additional twists on the martini, the Ketel One Smoky Martini and the Ketel One Pomegranate Martini.
